Inexpensive Wintergreen Oil
« on: February 26, 2021, 07:52:56 AM »
I was finally able to find a relatively inexpensive source for wintergreen oil, this comes in at a little less than 60 cents an ounce, shipped (US addresses).

 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07X7HRRCD/

Now to start going through the pile of rubber components that need work.

If you are looking for a smaller quantity, this place sells quart sized, also fairly reasonably.

Why you ask ?
Cause many people who buy wintergreen also like goat pee.
Now mind you this is not "real" goat pee from the back end of a goat but another tire preservative like wintergreen.

interesting marketing ploy..."Man, nothin better than splashin' a fresh coat of goat piss on the 'ole race slicks.  I just wish there was an easier way to gather it..."
If it works good, it looks good...

Yeah, it'll probably last years... ;D  I have plenty of projects, and if anyone in the mitten is looking for some, I could probably provide a few oz...
