I have a 78 Cb750F and I have yet to find an air box specifically for that year and model, but I keep seeing Ks and hondamatics (that I have never heard of) that have similar air boxes, but I do not know if there is anything internal that changes the air flow between them.

Also if anyone knows, bike was running only on choke, but that was with no air filters on the carbs at all. Wondering if it was just way too lean to run without choke or if something is plugged.

Thanks for any help!

Where are you IRW?

Not running unless the choke is on indicates dirty carburetors.  I recommend you clean carburetors while replacing Air Box.

I run the air box from an F model (which is the same as on a 78 K7/8 I think).  It has the catch basin to greatly reduce the oil from the breather while eliminating the smoke from cylinder head vent by recycling it into top of air box.  P.O. had butchered the original air box in a useless attempt to improve airflow I suppose.
