New guy with a CB500K1
« on: July 30, 2021, 03:28:50 AM »
Hi all,
After reading and learning a lot on this forums it's time to introduce me and my bike.
A couple of months ago I bought a 1972 Honda CB500 K1. It had been sitting in a shed for well over 10 years and is in need of some TLC. My first plan was to get it running again and put it back on the road straight away but as you all know once you start working on a bike you can't stop and before I knew it, it turned in to a resto project.

I also have two other bikes atm: a Yamaha LS3 (1972) and a Yamaha RD125A (1974) and a 1969 Volvo Amazon (yes not a bike ;)
Cheers from downunder  :D

Looks like a nice 122S under the cover. I owned a 66 122S two door that had a rough life before I got it. Loved that car, great fun when modified and tuned with suspension and motor output upgrades. Would love to see more photos...you can post them in Open Forum...
