Blackhawk motorcycle swap meet Davenport Ia.
« on: August 25, 2021, 09:36:48 AM »
This year it's Sept 2,3,4 I'm planning to take some excess cb750's and a kz1000 It's hard to let go but my shop is bike locked, no room to work without dragging something out.
There's a Honda part seller I look forward to seeing every year. His son has been helping him the last couple years. My buddy is talking about getting a new spot and partenering up on it. We're near the old chapel / museum? building, near the SE corner I think.
 Anyone else going?

There is that possibility. I remember the first year I saw the 750 Honda guy's spot. Later I realized I should have bought every K0 tool bag and any other K0 part he had.

 I'm taking the 77 F'nK, the KZ1000 a kz1100 spectre, maybe the gold K0.
I started the F'nK, it started right up no neutral bulb but safety works, Joke's on me, no chain and I don't know where it went.  The one I have must be 100 links, about 2 too short for a 77 with a 530 chain.

I went Friday, vendors were slightly down, the crowd was sufficient I noticed more gate vultures, low ballers and junk bike buyers. When I mentioned owning a K0 one of them stopped me and asked what year did you say?  I expect a phone call soon because I'm in one guy's phone number file.

It was possible to distance to a degree but with news of more of my friends friends getting covid even while vaccinated I decided to stay home to lessen my odds of infecting my grandkids.
