Hello from Atlanta!
« on: September 14, 2021, 07:37:34 PM »
I’m a long time member, mostly lurking and searching and finding answers to all sorts of common issues, but figured I would introduce myself. I recently graduated from a ‘73 CB350 to a ‘78 CB750K. It was a “running when parked” situation with cafe handlebars, that unfortunately was left outside. I took her in, cleaned it up, replaced the battery, rebuilt the carbs, changed the oil, got more stock looking bars on there, replaced the cables and front brake system, and she’s running good! Really loving how much more power I get then that 350 twin  ;D

Welcome aboard from NH and San Diego(winters).
Yes the 750 is a good step up from the 350 twin. When I bought my first 750 in the spring of 1975(a new K5), my dad was still on his 72 CB350 twin. I was keeping his bike up for him and rode it occasionally. I let him ride the 750..... He sold the 350 shortly thereafter and stepped up to a used 74 CB550. He kept that a few years until my older brother had to sell his fairly new 76 CB750 and bought it from my brother.

Howdy!

I have the same model as you. It's a great bike.
