Hey so im new to this forum and i recently got an old 1972 honda cb350f from my grandpa and it doesnt run ive seen pictures online of people having 2 lines run to their carbs from the petcock so i was wondering if anyone could send a picture of how the fuel lines are supposed to go to the carbs and also where the overflow lines go so basically how all the lines that connect to the carbs are supposed to go or a diagram either one would be great thanks

The carbs are fed by a single 5.5 mm ID hose in the center between carbs 2 and 3. There should be 2 other smaller hoses, 3/16" diameter, on both sides of the center fuel line connection. These are float bowls vent lines, and should be about 24" long, and are routed vertically ending loosely at the front of the air box.

Finally, you should have 4 drain lines connected on the brass nipples at bottom of each float bowl; these are about 1/8" ID diameter, and should extend to the rear frame by the swing arm pivot, (about 24" long each), secured together in a clamp so they point down to the pavement.

The original fuel petcock only had one fuel outlet pointing straight back. These can be rebuilt if they leak, and are preferable, but no longer available new, as I understand. If you have a dual outlet petcock, usually with 2 outlets pointing down, you have a choice of either plugging one outlet, or buy a Y fitting and connect the 2 outlets to the single fuel line that goes between carbs 2 and 3. With this type of petcock, you have to carefully route the outlet hoses to avoid kinks and pinching that strangle the fuel flow.
