Someone told me years ago I could drill the welds and peel the lower tube out of a parts frame. He couldn't be more wrong, it goes all the way to the neck double layered, spot welded and through a bend. The lower two horizontal tubes are also welded to the doubled tubed and the weld penetrates into both. The branch is the horizontal tube under the neck. The peeled part is the front engine mount tube that goes under the motor on the left.
