Air screw needle O rings???
« on: February 08, 2022, 02:47:26 PM »
Just finished cleaning and rebuilding my carbs (external control) for a CB750F. All the air needles had a spring but no O ring. My bike was running fine with the carb as is before I cleaned it.

Just noticed Vintage CB750 sells replacement Air screw needle O rings. Whats the deal?

If its a 1975-76 750F with round top carbs they don't have o-rings. Not sure on the 77-78 pumper carbs.

Thanks. By "round top" do you mean the ribbed round nut that holds the slide in? Those are the ones I have.

Timtune, you need to post the model number of your carbs. They may not be original to your bike, all the carbs have a model number on them.

Only the bikes with PD carbs need o rings on the idle mixture screws.

If they look like this they do not use any o-rings there.
