Topic: Vin Plate size?

Can someone with an 82-ish cb measure the vin plate for me. The one on my 82 cb650sc is missing and I'd like to know the correct size for when I order a replacement.

Not too bad. Font isn't quite right, still working on it. Obviously, I've changed some of the tire data....

I may actually have a go at silk screening it myself. For grins and giggles if nothing else.

Still need the measurements though....

I dont have a 650 but the plate on my 550F is approx 1"x3.5"

That must be one of the small plate styles that Honda used on earlier 70's bikes. The one that was on the nighthawk was at least 2" wide.

I've already contacted that guy, they can't (or won't) make a plate like the one on my CB650, even though it's nearly the same as other plates they offer (cb750 dohc, etc).

My 79 650 the vin plate is 3 5/8" long and measuring straight across 1 1/4 " wide. Flat it would be just a tad wider because of the curve. I took a couple of bad pics , let me know if you would like to see them.
