I want to thank the members here for guiding me through with my build. After sorting out the problem head, finding a 410 head in Florida, having a cycle x rebuild , reassembly. Here she sets. Ride on!

Got a little seat time today. It runs very well maybe a little rich with the stock airbox and stock jetting, but I can live with it. Front brakes are soft, braided lines should clean that up. Probably going to need a new set of steering head bearings. All in all it is a good one. The Kerker does sound great a lot better tone than the jardine slip-on on my 76F. Anyone headed to the Gilmore swap and show this weekend? Me and Dr.Wang are going to ride down there Saturday. The CB's will stay home and the aspencade will get the call.

I'll be at the show with both race bikes. My son is showing his Z50 as well. Should be a great time of the weather cooperates.

I have been riding this now for about 200 miles or so,little 40-50 mile loops. It seems to be good . No signs of any leaks. The stock jetting seems to be quite rich all four plugs are the same, heavy carbon. I thought I read somewhere that the pd46 carbs have a fixed pilot jet and can't be replaced. These are 46A. I might look for a set of pods and see what happens. But for how it is fine.

Looks like 42A. . I did find a good seat from 75-76 . Wiping it with baby oil to soften it up.

Took a nice 70 miler today with my bud and his 83 vfr. We switched for about 20 miles and I must say the v4 is a lot of fun.

Did the oil make it slippery?

The baby oil did soften the seat material, it soaks in quite quickly. Yes,it is a bit slippery but not bad.

Wow, a VFR that still has a working transmission!
