1977/78 K model key number location
« on: August 05, 2022, 04:28:56 AM »
Where can I find the key numbers on the locks of the 1977-78 K model bikes? I'm aware of the numbers on the K0-K6 on the ignition but that isn't on the K7-K8. I need to get some replacement keys.

Thanks.
I pulled the switch this afternoon and the numbers weren't there.  They were on the round cylinder cover.

I tried to post a picture but again my camera is set to big of picture files....

I found mine stamped on the side of the ignition cylinder and I confirmed it on the seat lock. Bought them from cyclekeysonline eBay store and they were here in 2 days and worked well
