Comb through here (sounds like you may have a similar issue): http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=184299.0

Looks like your adjuster screw for the slide height could be set way too high. I think the resolution in the thread was 4-5 threads showing total.

Also, I'd recommend looking into a bigger pilot since you are running pods. Plug chops can be a bit difficult with modern fuel, but I have found them to be helpful to get in the range.  Outside of the plug color, you'll know you are getting close when the roll on is smooth as you move through the pilot's throttle position/range.

I've been through that thread many times and have still had no luck.

I have also already been through the screw adjustment process and have mine set at about 4 threads showing.

I can look into the larger pilots, I've tried 40s and 42s

One other thing I noticed in your second video. You can hear the spring get caught when you are moving the throttle up and down. Also, looks like part of your electrical harness is obstructing some of the throttle movement (can see it moving). Anything binding at all? I'd suspect that maybe you pushing down on the nuts is helping this bind, but it would be near impossible to hear over the motor sound.

When you bench sync make sure your slides are almost closed. I think I used a 1/16 drill bit to set the gap.

I used a 1/8th drill bit

Don't these kinds of carburetors incorporate a "slide?"  Where there is sliding, there could also be sticking.

I have a tube of Dow Corning 111 silicon grease, which is a lifetime supply though I have used it a great many times.  The amount used each time is truly miniscule.  I use it to coat electrical bits, which seals out oxygen and prevents corrosion.  I use it to coat o-rings, which prolongs their flexibility and service life.  It feels like a clear grease, but it goes on more like a dry lube.  Once applied and then wiped off, the item is not wet, feels perfectly dry, does not attract dust and remains remarkably slippery forever.
