I don't know for sure because I've never tried it, but the exhaust port diameter and spacing may be the same on the SOHC 750 and the DOHC fours.  I have a Jardine exhaust on my '75 750F.  When I bought it, Jardine listed the same exhaust for the SOHC and the 750-1100 DOHCs.  Their website currently lists the same exhaust to fit 75-78 CB750s and the 80-83 CB900Cs.  I don't have a DOHC Honda around anymore to check it, though.

if i recall, i think thats what i was told..that the headers from the DOHC 750 would fit the SOCH .. but you would have to do a minor mod for the mid pipe/muffler or the mounting brackets to fit on the SOHC bikes ..

the damn 77-78 K aftermarket exhasuts are so hard to find used cheap so i thought id give the DOHC headers a try as there seem to be more of them floating around ...

would you have a pics of the jardine you are running ? how did u mount the muffler and how foes it sound ? any audip clips ? thanks ..

Here is a link to another thread that has pix of the Jardine exhaust on my bike.

The sound is not loud, very civilized, but you know the bike is running.

thanks for the jardine link .. looks neat and a bit 80's ..  id like a quiet 4-1 pipe too .. so it looks like some aftermarket DOHC headers should fit the SOHC exhaust ports and jardine is definitely one of them ..  that expands my search and i need to be on the lookout for some used ones ..  itll still be trial and error ..

I've been wondering the same thing, make sure you post some pictures after you get one mounted.

I think the DOHC pipes fit ok if they're the type, like the Jardine, that run alongside the sump. The ones that run under the sump do not fit well as the DOHC has a much deeper (wet) sump & you end up with a large gap between the sohc engine and collector.
