Front Turn signal issues

Correct bulbs
I assume I have a ground issue.
Front Turn signals won’t blink since I bought 3 weeks ago.
However, I noticed that if I pull in the clutch, the right turn signal will blink when turned on.
The left won’t.
What is going on?
Thanks.

After working the clutch a few times the right turn signal seems to be working.
So I guess there is an issue with the clutch switch?
The left turn signal is still not working.
How can I check the grounds and where?

Turning it on a little later, the right turn signal only comes on a blinks when the clutch is pulled in.
The headlight will come on sometimes. Once it’s on it stays on till it’s turned off.

Do you have the bike running while doing this?
Are you still running the old turn flasher relay?

I was not running the bike.
I’m not sure about the relay.
The rear signals work fine.

Turn signals usually only work when bikes are running on these old Hondas.
Probably a good idea to charge your battery before doing more testing with bike running.

Corrosion in socket, bulb bad looks good, wires wrong in headlight bucket, low voltage, corrosion in bullet connectors,  bad ground, I'd begin in the socket, then in headlight bucket.  A test lamp may tell you a lot.
No matter how many times you paint over a shadow, it's still there.

I keep my batteries on a tender while in the shop and especially when working on electrical problems so it's fully up on charge. A new flasher relay is cheap and sometimes it can help on flashing properly.

Did you use clean the barrel and pin connectors and use pliers to tighten them up? They do open up over time and need a little tightening. Did you wiggle the connectors in the headlight and the wires to the turn signals to see if the flash got working? You can use a multi meter on tone to test the bullet connector to the socket pin to test the wire continuity, wiggle the wire to see if it changes/looses tone. Is the solder end of the wire in the socket good? The solder can dimple over time and loose connection to the bulb(wiggle the bulb in the socket) I've also seen good looking bulbs that the glass was loose to the metal and had lost the gas charge in the bulb.

Use a test lead(alligator clips) ground from the frame to the bolt on the turn signal stem to test the ground.
