350F Wiring
« on: November 08, 2022, 09:16:39 PM »
I am looking for some help with rewiring my 350F.  I bought new harnesses but that MESS behind the headlight scares me.  I downloaded a color copy of the wiring diagram from this site but was looking for a local (Northern California) source that might help with getting everything hooked up.  Stopped by the dealer but they just laughed me out the door.  They are not interested in servicing anything more than 10 years old.

May I suggest you give it a go yourself? Sure, it's an untidy mess, but you just connect colour to colour. Armed with a wiring diagram and a bit of time, shouldn't really be too difficult. Otherwise what about an auto electrician? Compared to a modern car, these are bog basic, so present no issues at all. Good luck.

As long as its a correct loom it really is as easy as plugging colour to colour, the blinkers MIGHT throw you a bit as they should have small coloured plastic tubes on the wires but can easily have been bolted on wrong side or be aftermarket, not difficult to swap them if they work wrong

Second that. It's a bit of a rat's nest but it is pretty simple to do. There are a couple odd connections, but folks here can help you out.

And regarding the dealer -- welcome to the world of old bikes!
