CB750K Cylinder Head Intake Manifold

Hi just thought I would share sourcing CB750K screwed intake flange adapter manifold.
In short, I removed adapter from head and damaged it and wasn't able to reuse I have a machining background with a bit of time was able to make a new one so I am sharing some notes.

You didn't see a part number for them because they came only with the head.
Did you take one out of the head?

New CB750 K6 Anteres Red, to replace the totaled K5, I sold this K6 at 45k in 1983, I had heavily modified it, many great memories on it and have missed it greatly.....

I removed one to get the correct rubber insulators as my bike has a K3 Motor with PD41 keihin carbs.

Impressive that you got it out intact. More often than not they don't.
Do you have a copy of the Honda Shop Manual or Parts List for your bike? Get one here:

I used heat to remove came out ok thread is stripped on adapter but head looks ok photo attached was not mine just for reference.

Hmmm. K3 didn't come with PD41 carbs.
Are you sure it is a K3?

Use the correct thread chaser file, repair that one, and put it bacK. Coat it in a good anti seize lubricant and work it in and out until it’s back where it belongs.

Thanks for advice will use a thread file and refit best advice to all only remove these if it's last call.
