Hello group! I was active here about 10 years ago and got lots and lots of help on my 1975 cb750. After fixing it up, I toured the US on a solo 30 day retirement road trip (beginning in Toronto) and even stayed overnight in a few members' couches along the way. This was in the summer of 2014.

I had a fantastic trip! The only mechanical issues I had were a broken speedo cable in New York State and rear wheel bearings that needed replacing in California. While in Colorado, I met up with the famous Hondaman, who personally installed his electronic ignition trigger system on my bike!

I no longer have that bike and continued to ride my long time-owned '81 BMW R100. Three years ago I acquired a shed stored 1971 CL350 which I got running, and just yesterday bought another cb750, this one a 1973, hence my return to this amazing forum.

Welcome back,

The seat looks to be in good condition for a '73

I'm sure it's been redone with a seat cover. I have yet to get a good look at the bike. It's in a separate unheated garage, and it's been cold. I have removed the sissy bar and highway pegs.

Unfortunately not in a stock frame without getting a frame kit from Scottly.
He has a few kits available.

Welcome back aboard, I joined in 2018 just after getting a 75K5 from a friend's estate. I had bought a new 75K and a new 76K(to replace the totaled 75K, by ex cousin) and rode the 76 until 83 and sold it

Unfortunately this 1973 cb750 had more issues than I cared to deal with. Sold it and within 2 weeks bought another CB750, a 1974 Boss Maroon Metallic colour. I'll start a new thread.
