Those braided line kits look really nice! I’ve been ordering this 5.5 mm hose on EBay for a while. Just reordered and hope this is the same vendor I used last time. Good quality hose in a Honda wrap. Comes from Japan, free shipping. Usually within a week.
John…I will be adding some shrink tubing to the ends. I see they sent me some clamps for that braided line. You think it’s necessary as I did clean up the originals really good.

I like the Honda clamps, but those new ones look pretty decent too. Your choice.

Well, I admit the new ones look to have a better sealing surface and would probably do less damage to the braided line.

I buy 5 gal cans of Evaporust from home depot online

I could not find it there so got it at Summit Racing...

https://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-er018
Ouch. Only 3.5 gallon...... Not enough to fill the tank.

I just searched and see home depot online isn't offering the 5 gallon now.(when doing a search include 5 gallon so you don't get the smaller size in results)
Price has gone up elsewhere......

O'Reilly has next day pick up at the store for $98.99

Amazon prime delivers to house for $109.58.

I got my 6 one gallon jugs of Evaporust at Menards then 11% rebate. $19.57 each after rebate. They didn't have the 5 gallon pail, but the 1 gallon will be easier for me to handle and not dump all over my lift...LOL

I transfer by smaller container dipped in the 5 gallon bucket and then have a big funnel with a brass screen in the funnel into the tank.

I suppose since this is new containers of Evaporust from the jug I won't need the strainer until I reuse it. Hopefully 1 cleaning will do it.

I have always used Yuasa or Interstate AGM in the 750’s. What are you GL’ers using in your Wings. I had an Interstate last 9 years in my 1500 and only changed it out to be safe. So what has been your preference? I don’t like cheapola so won’t try Fleet Farm. Batteries Plus that I tried once lasted 6 months. Thanks guys!

I’ve been using these AGM batteries, from a local supplier, in all my bikes. Phenomenal deal, they last +6 years and don’t leak a drop. That one is a perfect fit for a cb750, but they come in all sizes. Gary has a bigger one in his GL1000 and works great.Note that price is Cdn. $!

Don…. That’s what go me started (the price). They last +5 years and make no mess! Only thing I’ve noticed is they go away suddenly. Fine one day, go back a week later and NOTHING. Even my “dumb” battery charger doesn’t recognize there’s a battery connected to it!

My local supplier is out of stock too! I need one for the K6 so called them. 3-4 weeks. “Supply chain issues” ?

Govt is blaming supply chain for inflation and ignoring the contributions of policies and financial actions of the govt. Saw a fact checking on WH official spokesperson liar de jur. It looked at several recent claims.

Called a bunch of recent statements partial truths and the like …

Basically if you are constantly being told how great the economy is doing they fail to mention and you know it ain’t doing so good as all that inflation in prices has continued to rob everyone
They fail to mention the impacts on everyone from inflation of prices and many having to work 2 jobs to make ends meet and it doesn’t reflect how bad things have become. Printing money with abandon will drive inflation and forgiving debt will result in the same…

Back to my broken left side cover. As you recall the cover was in great condition except for the broke tab. I took your advise and used the "U" shape aluminum fix and it worked excellent. Actually to be honest I took it to my body guy who does all sorts of stuff for me. He did the work and matched the paint perfect. Cover is on and here are a few pics with the seat on. Still waiting for some warmer weather to use the Evaporust, but will sync the carbs soon. No hurry as I have other projects on the list that my wife has created like changing the doors and storm doors on the house. :-)
