350F - Air Box to Carbs to Head
« on: June 08, 2023, 01:38:21 PM »
Please tell me there is some easy way to install the intake manifolds, carbs, and air box to a 350F installed in the frame.  It would be easy to get the manifolds and carbs attached to the head with the engine out of the frame, but I don't see a way to mount the engine back in the frame with all that attached to the head.  Thanks in advance for any help.

The carbs should be off to R&R the engine. If not, tilting the engine forward during install will not be possible.
I unbolt the carbs at the intake manifolds and install them as a unit after the engine is seated again. To do this, the airbox needs to be fully disconnected from the frame and moved back a bit to allow for carb installation.
