Topic: Weird Bit in my Headlight!

Cleaning up my K1 today and I thought there was water at the bottom of the headlight. Cibie H4 with a replaceable bulb. I pulled it off, removed the bulb and shook it out. A small strip of “U” shaped alloy! Where could it have come from?? The glass is bonded to the reflector and I don’t see any propose…… maybe a previous bulb had a reflector on a brace? Totally stumped. Anyone recognize this bit?

I suspect it must be, I vaguely remember some weird LED bulb I tried a few years back it may have had this as a brace of some kind.

Can be an inner metal reflector/cover for light pattern.
Like Hella reflectors have
All mine got it to fell off after not much use. Scratches in reflector after the metal rattle around in there.
Same issue with reflectors bought recently as in the 80's.
