Which torque wrench to buy?
« on: August 15, 2023, 05:43:15 AM »
What’s the right size/spec/Nm range torque wrench I should buy for working on my 550/4?
I want to correctly torque my top end.
Any brand recommendations?

I know some guys don't like Proto BUT my father, who is a master mechanic, work with
the same torque wrench for over 40 years without any problem. I have two Proto myself and i'm pretty satisfied.

Just my two cent

I've become a big fan of Tekton products. I have their 1/2" torque wrench and 1/4" torque wrench and they are both great. I might not get digital readouts, but I can suffer that for the most part. I have an older Kobalt 3/8" digital wrench but wouldn't mind Tekton's 3/8".
