Unfamiliar Part, 1978 CB750A
« on: March 01, 2024, 09:45:23 PM »
Hey all,
This was thrown in a bag of parts from Ken that he took out of my case halve and crank that I shipped him for machine work. I can't remember where this goes or see it in the parts diagrams on partzilla. Thoughts?

That's the stud that screws into the right side of the crankshaft, that the ignition advancer fits onto.

Thanks Guys!
Makes sense I didn't recognize it! I didn't even know it was removable!
At least it can be installed while the case halves are together!

Hey Guys, I have come across another part I dont reconize in the same batch. This bolt came from Ken when he sent my casehalves and crank back to me and took out some stuff I left in. I assumed it was a casehalf bolt, but not having the flange on the head, and a long shoulder has me stumped. Looks like it might be external since there is thread damage from what looks like sitting on a table and an angle or something?
