We used to use a pair of the front signals and put them on the rear stems, then get red lenses and boom, extra lights back there. Some of the rear stems do need the wiring hole enlarged.
My 78 Goldwing has a rack and vetter bags on it, when I removed the trunk, I added drag specialties mini's on both sides of the license plate, they work with running and brake lights and I still have amber turn signals.

Do you have a type of electric component to give your extra brake lights more power while the tail/running lights are on,or do the taillight section of the bulbs temporarily turn-off inside the turn sigs while the signals are flashing ?

Nope, on my GL the turn signals are standard yellow and separated from the added brake and running lights, On the 750's we did the bright part of the bulb was wired to the turn signal wire and the running lights were just hooked to the running light wire. I suppose that's hard on the bulbs but we didn't think too much about it.
I also tried the early type of LED bulbs with a lot of disappointment, I finally bought LED taillights for my 40 Chevrolet, even with bright bulbs the turn signals and brake lights were difficult to see during the daytime.

Do you know the brand bulb?
Looks good, light is higher color temperature more like 4000k instead of what looks like 2700k

See the link to Amazon I ordered. 2 pack.
Chinese brand that can be produced and sold under different name.

Brand Pyrjin. Type P21

A brighter bulb will probably shine thru the red plastic too much so it turns to not legal with too much white light.

I want to switch to a set of 4) bright LED turn signals;I want to install a pair of double filament front turn signals from a VF500C Magna in the rear.
The idea is to have 3) rear taillights, including each turn signal;I will use 1157 bulbs on each rear turn signal.
I have 1156 bulbs in the front and want some bright ones up there.
Do they make good LED 1157 bulbs now? I bought a set of flat LED's and tried installing them into a double bulb rear taillight a few years back;no improvement, rather a lot less light and I couldn't see the bulbs in bright sunlight(and no license plate illumination)so I went back to incandescent.

I want to switch-over to LED's,but don't want an LED bulb that's lame;I hope the LED bulbs are strong enough to press them into the sockets.
Yeah,I've got No experience at all on LED's  ::)  Need to learn how to retro-fit them onto an older light socket.  :)

Assuming you do, I have a few sets of red turn signal lenses (1969-75 style), if your state requires red on the back?

That made me curious............

(2) any other vehicle that is drawn at the end of a train of vehicles;

must be equipped with at least one (1) tail lamp mounted on the rear that when lighted as required in this chapter, emits a red light plainly visible from a distance of five hundred (500) feet to the rear.
(d) A tail lamp upon a vehicle shall be located at a height of not less than twenty (20) inches and not more than seventy-two (72) inches.

I can end up in all 3 of those states within 10 miles of home :-).

At times cops have went on goofy streaks about the "blue dots"...then they calm down for a few years about it.

One of my 750 buy outs came with a bag of blue dots. I like them and think they work but never wanted to give the Police any excuse to pull me over. they were especially good in my old 40 chevy with high wattage conventional bright bulbs, the drawback was they melted the little lenses that let light illuminate the trunk.
