CB500 / 550. Pluming in a Oil Pressure Gauge.
« on: April 12, 2024, 07:23:00 AM »
Has anyone got photos of a Oil Pressure Gauge Plumed into the right side Oil Galley plug? (below the points cover) on a CB500 4 / 550.
Most of us have likely seen this done on the 750, but the Oil Galley plug on those are much more "user friendly" for doing this.
About a year ago when I was researching this, I had found a few pix of at least two other builds that did this but now can't seem to find them again.?!
Previously I had plumed an Oil Pressure Gauge into the left side of a 550, directly into the Oil Pump and through the sprocket cover, but those don't have the clutch actuator on that side (like on the 500Four) to work around.  This time I would like to install one on a 500Four and don't want to mess with that extra obstacle.

I've got a pretty solid plan of how I would like to do this one, but I always like to see how others have approached similar challenges as a reference or if there is something I haven't taken into consideration yet.
