Auto Fast Idle On carb

Just Got this bike (1977 Hondamatic) and took the carbs off as carb # 1 was leaking.  There is a hose that goes to the Auto Fast idle.  I'm not sure I'm calling this the right name.  Any how It was not hooked up to anything.
I believe it is supposed to be hooked to a rubber grommet on the air cleaner .
Please tell if that is correct??? Thanks
