Newbie2

JustCruising, although we have not met, I am a good old friend of Eric's and also live in Kalamazoo.  That is why Scottly initially contacted me about your good intents.  When I read your story, I remembered what Eric has told me about your cousin and I am sorry to hear he is not doing so well.

Best of luck selling your cousin's parts.  I love to hear about rare old parts finding their way to the owners of the bikes they belong to...thus making more old bikes back into a useful thing of beauty, that they were when they were new.

Thank you for your kind words for my cousin,  it's a rotten disorder that doesn't need to exist. Though he sold a large quantity of rolling stock and parts, there's still a bunch to liquidate.  Hopefully I can get it done.

It's probably best we don't post our location's publicly on the forum.  I encourage you to get more posts on the main forum so you can send and recieve private messages.  I have bought and sold a lot of parts here over the years but you have to understand that the primary aim of the this forum is to help members with information and share some sort of online community.

I looked to see if I could move the last few posts to your intro thread, but I don't see an easy way to do it...

Not quite, I moved those posts to a new thread instead of adding to your intro. At least you get credit for the posts now. :)

Scottly, I guess I am not that worried about it but if you look at the thread title now it says Newbie2 started by seanbarney41 in New Member Introductions.  Folks are gonna get kinda confused how this here "new member" already has over 10,000 posts lol

Yeah, when I first split the topic from the wanted board, starting from your post, I had to give it a title, so I chose Newbie. Then, when I couldn't merge the two threads, I changed the title to Newbie2 on the first post and tried, and failed, again. :-[
