newbie 650Z owner, lots to do!!!
« on: October 18, 2006, 03:00:30 AM »
Hi all, newbie here from UK. Just got a CB650Z after many years away from bikes (Hey, I was starting to ride when this bike was in the showrooms, so you get an idea of my age). Wanted a project that didn't take up all the garage, like my cars do, so thought a bike from my early days would be good for a change. Lots to do, and plenty of questions will follow, but take a look at the website showing where I am right now.

details here >>> http://uk.geocities.com/cb650@btinternet.com/

regards, Phil,
Sussex, England.

Wow, that bike is pretty rough...

Having said that, though, good choice!! I've got a '79 650Z and love it!

Hi there, should all be OK now. Loaded some more after finally getting out to the garage today.

Plenty more activity recently. It's all on the website (see sig) but here's a few bits of late.

Got the frame back from powdercoating today (satin black), so lots of rebuilding to get onto.

Nice!

Looks like you are doing quite a job, be interested to see what it looks like fully assembled when you are done!

However I must say, the rims look odd to me.
But thats 'cause my '79 cb650 has the reversed comstars....
