Rest in peace David.  You will be missed.
Dennis...  70 SL175  74 CB550  79 CBX  82 Seca Turbo  2011 CBR  2012 NC700X

You will regret the bikes you DIDN'T buy much more than the ones you DID!!!  It's never too late to start a new adventure!

So sorry to learn that David has passed unexpectedly. Rest in Peace friend.

David posted a lot in the 24 rides thread and he had something to add much of the time.
I will have to go back and reread his posts.
Thanks John and Scottly

RAFster prophetically posted this on February 6:

I've opted to be cremated so one person can handle the box/flask/urn. Don't wish to stress 6 lugging me and a coffin around however short a trip that might be...
Let's not need those services for a while, a good long while.
But, if God decides it is time I think I'm ready for the new body...

Another obituary with a nice photo:

Yea that is a shame, I remember him posting that and thinking that he hopefully had many more years left despite what the medical professionals were telling him.

I was going through my thread and realized that I haven't heard anything from David since January  and thought I should start looking for him, and found the news of his whereabouts here.
Sorry to hear of your passing  my friend. Thank you for being there all this time, you will surely be missed  RIP.

I traded more than a few emails with David. I think he was more excited than me when I bought the old Volvo C30! He surely must get the prize for some of the longest rants in the history of this forum. What generally concerned me the most was I understood most of them and rarely disagreed! Odd duck and  I liked him.

Ah man, I enjoyed reading his comments.
Too many folks from this great forum are passing over.
May he rest in peace
