Thanks Scotty. I restored a 1982 CM450A, so I have some familiarity with the general model. It has a cluster of mini information parts in the tach position.

Here's the bike I did after the refresh

I looked at the bike and it is in great condition and runs well. Compression was 165 X 4. The two issues which are a deal killer for me are the left muffler is quite rotten at the front area near the down pipe and almost all the way around with some JB Weld fix. The rear cones also have rot and JB Weld under the very bottom at the exit. The right muffler has a 3.5 inch JB weld repair underneath halfway down too.
Since a replacement exhaust is NLA and these ones while the chrome is good are a bit of a mess. The left one needs some type of repair to reinforce it soon.
The other issue was the bike creeps in low gear at idle. It was idling a little high so I adjusted it down and no change. It jumps when put into gear slightly. Maybe this is normal on the CB750?? The 1982 CM450 I restored didn't do this and sat motionless until you turned the throttle when in low gear.
Forgot my camera and not a phone guy never got that memo.  :)

I would think using the proper weight oil would be really crucial to making the torque converter work correctly ?? With multi viscosity oils it gets even more complex maybe.

See my respond at the other post. Maybe close one? This is confusing.
