I am putting new sprockets and chain. I have a 100 link 530 tsubaki - it had an 18t front and 48t rear- is that the stock setup for 1975 cb750k ?
Also it has that chain oiler on it which I have never dealt with can i just screw oiler screw all the way in ? anyone ever use that joker oiler delete? you have to tap it in with permatex - not sure how easy it is to remove? or any other oiler delete ideas?
Thanks
Damon
The front sprocket came with a 17 tooth. 18 was an upgrade for highway touring to drop the rpms.

If the rubber seal is still in good condition on the oiler shaft it will seal off it adjusted. My rubber on my K5 was almost nonexistent, I found a new seal and adjusted it shut off. I did think about getting or making a deleat plug if it didn't shut off as the seal is not available now. With today's chains and chain lube available there is no need for the oiler that didn't do much other than make a mess of the bike and floor from drips while parked.

Thanks Scottly !  I will just screw the oiler part all the way in and try that.

If it doesn't seal it off, it will at least slow it down so it doesn't work so much until 50+ MPH. That's how mine is currently set up, and I only get a floor drip when I come back from a hiway trip. In commuting service it seldom drips at all in the garage.
