1974 cb750 Carb throttle shaft removal

Hi guys, I wanted to see if anyone has information on how to remove the carburetor throttle shaft from the carbs stay of a 1974 CB750.  I am trying to remove the rod connects all the carb throttles. 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I took my CB750 K6 carbs apart for over 30 years ago, cleaned, soda blasted them and together again. I did not have any information how to do before. Just removed all screws and nuts. Maximum Haynes CB750 book that is not very clear at all. It's very clear how the construction is done.  Old dirty carbs might need some deruster thin oil spray before.

Do not remove the shaft from the carbs if you do not have to.
IF you do- remember that the two screws holding the butterfly to the shaft have been staked so the butterfly will not come loose and suck the screws into the engine.
You will have to grind the end of the screw off with a dremmel tool.
The only reason to do this is that you know that the throttle shaft bushings are loose or leaking air.
You will have to make the felt washers yourself. Any other parts too.

Thanks guys. I think the carbs that I have are the K0-K4 carbs.  there is a shaft that connects to the top of each carb.  There is a part that I need to replace due to the screw being stripped. 
In the second photo the shaft i'm trying to get out is on the bottom of the photo.

If you have that shaft out, you either broke your backplate assembly or it was broken before.  The groove all the way around the rod is for a pressed in pin.  Now that it's out, you will have to drill out the old pin, machine a new one, and press/hammer it in.

The pictures of the throttle rod is the part you need to replace?  There are no threads in that part so don't see how you would need one cause of stripped screws.

There are no threads in the shaft, but several in the parts attached.
KeiHin really didn't design this assembly to be dismantled. The pin mentioned is one of the difficulties. Once apart it is a major puzzle to reassemble, hopefully that picture shows you have two so one can be a model for reassembly?

the part that was stripped was one of the circular collar that hold the cable mount in place.  I was thinking of removing it and then drilling the collar on the opposite side and retapping it for a screw.  The original screw was stripped.

I see you are still active on the forum.
How did you end up getting the throttle shaft out? We're you successful?
I have a very stiff set, probably from corrosion inside, and need to get it apart to clean it up so it operates smoothly.
