Funnycar hard hit
« on: August 24, 2025, 03:07:54 PM »
This isn't the car I helped front half, it's the one that replaced it. It just got $30K worth of repairs after going off the end at Norwalk and took a hard hit at the next race.
I realized it's a facebook video, I'll try to download it so everyone can see it.
Suffice to say it hit the cones at half-track and turned hard left into the wall. Driver walked away.

His wife also races the same class so they will still be racing but Chris has been running for a few decades without a wreck like that. He's likely to be parked for a while, he funds it by working out of his auto shop at home.

Chris bought a used Top Alcohol Funnycar and is outfitting it with his mechanicals. He's home earning the $$ in his shop and she went to get it.
