Maybe what I said there was unclear. Battery is 12.6V at the hot side of solenoid aka battery power.  I’ll check with key on and then again with start pushed and clutch pulled. Wondering if I should check to make sure the green/red wire is grounding correctly. Maybe my clutch safety switch isn’t working. Thinking about jumping the green/red to ground on battery to see if my clutch safety switch is bad? I’ll maybe try to read my blurry wiring diagram: .

All battery power:
Key off 12.6
Key on 12
Start pushed and clutch pulled 11.9 V

Yes, you can just jump the green/red to ground, bypassing the starter motor safety unit altogether. The starter should work anytime the key is on and the start button is pressed, regardless of the clutch or trans being in neutral. That's the way the earlier bikes worked.
Don't fix it if it ain't broke!

Yel/red has 10.6 with start button pushed.
If grounding the other wire doesn't work, the problem may be in the button switch and it's wiring. Perhaps this is why the PO added the switch in the first place?

I’ll check that ground and then the switch next. I find it interesting that it worked for a bit and suddenly stopped. I do still have 10.6V at the yel/red with the button pushed so seems like it should work…
