My bike does have that, it's a bit melted though from the previous owner resting it on the exhaust  ::)

They show up on and off, it's a pricey piece of plastic.... Last time I saw one (not long ago) someone was asking like $75 for it. But it's a necessary item to carry a tool kit and your paperwork.

That would be a prime candidate for a 3D printed version.

Yes! I have seen one - my 1975 400-4 (my second motorcycle purchased in 1984 for $300)  had a complete tool kit with lid. Back then I didn't know how rare it was for that to still be in there! I kept it when I sold the bike - but I have no idea what happened to it. :(

I've got a couple, one that has been on a bike I've had since '97 and that I recently fixed with epoxy, one on a newer bike I bought that is in great shape, no holes. Definitely would be a great part to 3D print though.

Cms isn't by any means a great barometer, to say they're a little expensive is an understatement. But in the end it is just what it is.

That's cheap to me for a correct piece of plastic. Nothing fits like genuine Honda parts.
That's lunch at Burger King in Washington state.

It was1/3 of the price of the Reproduction

It's interesting that it came up in stock, perhaps that means Honda has just produced a new batch of them. It must be a bit of a gamble stocking/making expensive pattern parts when any day Honda could restart production of genuine ones cheaper

They only had the one.  Now  they are out of stock.

Pretty sure honda is not making any more. They likely ditched the the mold long ago.

CMS buys other peoples/ businesses stock. That's why stuff pops up now and then.

Good points there I didn't know they buy in stock like that,  though unless it has been repacked then it isn't all too old, the label barcode looks like a GS1 type (I worked on barcodes for a bit, they really are dull as anything) and they only came in about 20 years ago.  If you can scan it with something you might find a date even.
