Marine grade Stabil?
« on: October 06, 2025, 07:54:38 AM »
I saw on the GL1000 board they recommend marine grade stabil for winter storage. I never really heard of it. Apparently supposed to really keep moisture out of a boat fuel system during storage. I've used Stabil for many years with good results and clean the system with SeaFoam during the riding season. What do you guys know about the marine grade stuff? Thx...

It seems to make sense. I use a little Amzoil 2 stroke oil in my gas tanks to protect the 4-4 exhaust and gas tanks and have chosen the marine grade for the same reason.

I use a little of the last oil I drained at the engine's change. About 2-4 ounces holds the gas "good" all winter here.
See SOHC4shop.com for info about the gadgets I make for these bikes.
