gasket - goo or no?

I should know this by now. It's about whether any of these gaskets go on dry, or also get sealant on them (goo). I am pretty sure these are all dry (no goo). But here goes:
I already did the oil pan - so no goo there
I am still changing these 3-

1)Clutch cover gasket - goo or no? Have not pulled it yet to see if there is old goo

2)Transmission cover gasket - goo or no? Looks like it was dry

3)Stator cover gasket - goo or no? This was the kicker, as it has some silver/grey goo left behind from the previous gasket

If you feel the need for goo, put it on the side that touches the part you are removing. This holds it in place AND is much easier to clean off at the bench. As always, use it sparingly  if you use it at all.

No goo!  They didn't have it from the factory and honda bikes are very fluid tight.

On paper gaskets NOT THE HEAD you can use CLEAN grease to help them stick to a joint surface without making them a swine to clean off next time

I have an ancient aerosol can of a FelPro spray on gasket glue. It sprays out a fine mist of red adhesive. For side covers I usually give a VERY LIGHT spray to the cover side of the gasket and slightly oil the engine face before installation. Don’t over torque and the gaskets can last virtually forever…..

  I use a little rub of chap stick on the side that I'd like to come off later. Sometimes if I feel the need to stick it in place, a coat of aerosol copper coat on the cover side.

No goo imo and if you're worried about leaks and have everything reasonably well cleaned up, soak the gasket in oil or whatever fluid it comes in contact with and let it swell up a bit before installing.
