K6 Headlight brackets...

So upon installing the tapered rolling bearings I happened to notice how rotten my left headlight bracket is.  The right is a bit rusty, but the left is cracked all the way through from the back to the reflector.  In fact, with little difficulty I pulled the reflector off.  The reflector is presently wired in place, but I'd really like to replace the brackets.

So far, I've come up completely blank... OEM Honda says they're out and discontinued, Ebay hasn't turned anything up, nor has David Silvers or Western Hills, Partsnmore... etc.

The bike is pretty damn close to all original, so I'd like to find OEM/NOS if I can, or at least clean used, but as long as it *looks* original to the casual observer I'll be happy.

So, my other thought is whether or not the more available K2 headlight brackets will fit with some modification.

I'm a metalsmith, so I could pretty easily adapt the K2's by drilling the turn signal holes, making a back-piece and adding (or disregarding,) the extension for the turn signal squawker, which I have unplugged regardless...  That is... IF they'll fit.

Anyone know where to get an OEM left bracket for the K6 or if the K2's will fit?
