Got to hear and see cannons like that being fired at night at Fort morgen at the mouth of Mobile bay ,all I can say is that is was Damn impressive.

i grew up next to fort riley... the explosions stopped registering after a while. obviously not the ones that rattled the windows though

I CLEAN my gun with Outers Nitro solvent, a barrel brush and swabs. I OIL my gun with Outers Gun Oil. I don't CLEAN my gun with OIL!

I use Hoppes, but Outers is good for cleaning also. I do like a graphite based grease on my revolvers and Rifle Bolts.

The "ka-CHING" when closing the bolt of a M1 Garrand, and the "SPLINGG " when the 8th round is fired and the clip is ejected........ask me how I know....go ahead...ask....ask...

Gun control? I don't have any problems controlling my gun. I just point it at the bowl and let fly. Always lift the seat so as not to offend any of our lady friends.
