one thing im not sure has been brought up,that dent in your stock tank, its big enough that it will displace a bit of oil,if you put the recommended amount of oil in the tank,it may be too much because of that dent.just a thought.

Just try hooking that new tank up Tim, and let us all know if it fixed the problem? You might have some internal damage in your old thank that is allowing the oil to run out once it gets hot and thins? You'll only know, if you give it a go! Cheers, Terry.

I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.
So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

thats the problem tho ,to hook up this new one i'd have to put the transmission line onto where the breather goes . with the breather now going to the transmission theres no way to see if everything is coming out the breather . but i pm'd a few people and it's sounding like blocking off the breather off the oil tank isn't that big of a deal since the engine can still breathe out the valve cover . that being the case i'm probably going to hook up the new tank since it doesn't have the big dent in it .
