I rebuilt my top end last year using an Athena kit. It stopped oil from weeping from the top end for a few weeks but the leak came back and in the spring it was bad enough that I had to do it again.
I rebuilt the top end
again about a month ago. This time I used Honda parts. I replaced the oil gallery O-rings, the base gasket, the O-rings that go around the cylinders at the base, and the head gasket. Total cost wasn't too bad... about $80 if I remember correctly.
I have put about 1000km (625 miles) on it so far and no sign of leaking.
