Topic: 750 front brake piston differences - info needed

At some point, the piston inside the CB750 front caliper seems to have gone from about 38 to about 41 mm in diameter. It may have been with the '75 750F.

As I am looking to buy a used, complete caliper/bracket assembly I would like to know what bikes have the later, larger piston.

So, referring to the CB750K series, would anyone know where the upgrade occured?? '76? '77?

For the K series the 77-78 are on there own. 76 and previous are the same, from my understanding.

That's consistent with my impression as well.

I should have added that the front brake components on the '75 & '76 750F carry a -392- identifier, instead of -300-. 

If anyone has a parts diagram or microfiche for the '77 &'78 K models, then it would be of interest to know what part numbers the caliper and piston have.
