Well he had quite a bit going on. Had to move his shop and all and figured he was going to be AWOL for a while.

  And Einyodeler and Biffta?

Einyodeler was last active yesterday.  Biffta got upset after some other members, including myself, jumped down his throat for posting some very disrespectful comments about other member's motorcycle styling choices back at the beginning of March, and hasn't been back since.

Junkie is around, but I think he's currently occupied in other areas of life. Heard a few months back that somebody fromthe St. Louis vinmoto group ran into him at a local home depot and that he kind of put the bike on the back burner, but was still interested.

Hi Dave, like Gordon said, Steph has been on line but not as active as he used to be.

Regarding Dave Biffta, I sent him a PM quite a while ago and got no responce. I didn't know he had been involved in a slagging match, but thats Dave, a little bit over outspoken. ::) ;D

As you might have noticed, I've been off line all week and came in tonight to a PM from another member asking did I know why Dave has stopped posting.

I think the best thing to do is ask one of the Mods.

We don't know either.

People come and go.

There was a thread about "Forum Fatigue" a while back - sometimes you need a break and come back refreshed. I've been riding my new Triumph a lot recently and joined the local IAM (Institute of Advanced Motorcyclists) to get some more training after 35 years! That equals less forum time.

It's very scary being followed by a police motorcycle instructor...

I was taught to ride by an ex police motorcycle instructor, as a newb I actually found it scarier trying to keep up with him when he led :o

He told me off for "not making progress".  In other words (apparantly), stick to posted speed limits, but when out in the "National" limit, go as fast as you want to according to the road and traffic conditions.

National limit in UK is 60mph, unless a lower limit is posted or when on a motorway (70mph), so being actively encouraged to ride at 85 (which we did) on broad, open, bendy roads was exhilarating.

Break the limit in a built up area though and it's an instant fail.
