Topic: Where to find exhaust mounts for a CB750k8?

Does anyone know where I can find the exhaust mounts for the 1978 CB750k?  I bought the bike with 4-2 and ebayed some oem 4-4 awhile ago and now I am looking for the mounting hardware.  I just tried Service Honda and they said they are discontinued.

well those usually were part of the exhaust. The person you got them from probably pulled them off to sell alone. Check ebay more but otherwise, you will probably need to fabricate some.

Back at it again!  Can someone with a 77-78k measure the distance c-c between the hole in the exhaust mounts?  So I guess I need the distance from the top's holes to the bottom's holes in the exhaust mounts.  Then also the distance from the top back hole to the foot peg mount hole.  My sad illustration might help.  The / is the dims. I need.

Sorry, I know this is a tall order but it is the only way I can fab something up with out knowing the stock dims.

You could replace them with the earlier style mounts, which you can buy online. (cyclexchange.net has them)

I just looked over their website and couldn't fin dthem?
