...do I adjust the choke idle with the screw located around the bowls?  If so which way (in/out) moves the idle up or down?

...think I figured it out...I just adjusted the height of the cable for the choke, so it pulls the choke up a little farther...   ::)

I lowered my cable so that the little clamp is actually on the plastic cable cover. I am sure my carbs are not completely correct on assembly for the choke actuation but it works fine and gives me no grief!

...yea, I'm rebuilding another set of 78 Carbs and the choke rod is a comlete Bi-Atch!!!  It will be a few months b4 I get to try them out, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed...
