For all you students of English grammar.

Here's a little grammatical problem to solve; see if you can do it. (Yes, it's another 'no show' day at the driving test centre and I'm bored!)

Your task, should you choose to accept it, is to create a sentence (in  English) which contains the word 'and' five times in a row, which makes sense.

You can put as money words in front of, or after, the 'ands' as is necessary for the sentence to make sense. You may also punctuate between the 'ands' but you may not insert any words or letters between the 'ands'.

Over to you grammatical whiz kids....

The manager of a strip club called The "Pole And Postion" asked a handyman to make a brand new neon sign. After the handy man made the sign and gave it to him, he realized it would never fit in the window. He told the poor man that the sign was too wide. He then said "If you want to get paid, put less space between Pole and And and And and Postion".
The handyman then proceeded to shoot and rob the manager. He left for Cuba and was never seen again.

My personal favorite is..

Now if some one could tell me if Schroeder's cat is alive or dead I would be much obliged.

That's Schroedinger's Cat, and if it's been in that damn box for this long, it's most certainly dead and rotting, and I sure as hell don't want to be the one to open it! ;D ;D

Close, but no cigar. Has to be: and and and and and all together.

oh, I must have read it wrong ;)

I thought it said you could put as many LETTERS in front or after the and's as possible.

I won't even try it this way, as there is no way to not make saying and 5 times sound anything but retarded :)

A complex can be a building with multiple functions (eg shopping complex etc.)
A person with a hang-up about such a building would have a complex complex.
Of course if the building was part of a larger campus with several buildings, all with multiple functions, it would be a complex complex and the person with the hang-up would have a complex complex complex.
If the hang-up went beyond a simple neurosis, it would be a complex complex complex complex.
Let us suppose that the therapist treat this disorder became overwhelmed by the demands of his patients and had a nervous collapse. He would then be suffering from a complex complex complex complex complex.
(Of course, this assumes that the therapist's nervous collapse is a simple one.....................................)
