Did this idea ever take off?  I guess you just fell off it all the time because there is no gyroscopic effect from wheels.

On a snowmobile wearing long johns, jeans, fleece shirt, 2 sweaters and a full floater suit, balaclava, scarf, and a full face helmet - with a full body "fairing" and high windshield (with the engine heat blowing into the air bubble behind them) I'm still fricking COLD. I can imagine what it would be like on one of these - and it makes me shiver. No thanks!
