Looks very nice NATEG.  Tell us a bit about it...did you do it up this way or get it already like this?  How does it ride?  (Don't think the breakless front wheel would be "legal" in most areas.)

i bought it like this last fall for 150, found in a barn with 14,700 on the clock

the first thing i did was cut the seat up, stole my bars and throttle from my dirtbike and removed various items and came out with this

that was fine with me but it looked too cluttered and didn't handle very well, i wanted something that looked like an engine a frame and wheels and nothing else,

clubmans

rear shocks are from my brothers 82 440 ltd that we hardtailed

stock front fork with the old rear coil springs cut to length and stuffed in, its quite stiff but it does have a nice balance, I havent pushed it too hard yet but according to the wear on my fresh rear tire i dont have much more lean to go before it scrubbs out

the front brake caliper was gone when i got the bike and i saw some flat-trackers and really liked the look of the open front end, just gotta be careful and always have an exit planned when riding in traffic, which i hate to do anyways. i live near sturgis s.d. but the people out here really haven't seen many bikes like this, its pretty scary to have a car pull up next to me for a closer look and see them in a dead stare at me and not watching the road :o it acually brakes pretty well if i dont lock up the rear

i made the seat out of the stocker, its the second time I've redone it in six months and i'm still not happy with it so watch for a change up soon

it used to start on the first kick but the kick start lever broke a couple days ago so now i have to use the stupid electric starter which is a wire under the seat that i ground out to activate it.

Is there any way i can remove the batteryand still be able to start it, i think its kind of an eyesore?

i made a box for all the wires and stuff under the seat,

new plugs and condensors

rattle can paint job for now(hates gasoline, haha) this winter i plan on having the frame blasted and coated, and a real paint job for the tank

i think thats all ive done so far, still working on the carbs it runs out pretty good but there is some hesitation

Nateg,

Many people have wanted to remove their batteries, but I don't think anyone has pulled it off. Do a search.

Good luck,
Keith

Yeah I read it.

The before pictures were after the after pictures so it looked like the brake and lever were still there.

Its not my opinion....its a scientific fact....bike stop better with two sets of brakes....

If I could only have one.....I'd take the front....

But hey its your bike and your life.....

You want no front brake go for it.

Hey, my name is Nathan. This is my first post so I thought I'd introduce myself and my new toy.

The shorty pipes have no baffles and it is loud! I'm here in Manitoba, Canada and doubt that the current setup will pass a safety inspection as is.  Wish me luck!

1972 CB350F - Nothing special yet.  First bike in a long time and I bought it more to work on than ride - although riding it is a blast!

Looking to get it running smoothly now, then cafe it this winter.  Pics to come.

Hi guys-

Here are some pics of my little '73.  She's new to me with a little over 8,000 miles on the clock.  Interesting part about this bike is my students found her and bought her for me!  I'm a teacher ;), and as their end of the year present they picked her up (I actually was a part of the final looksie and deal).  They knew I wanted a project bike with the idea of cafe'ing her.  I'd say they did a pretty good job.  She needs cosmetic work and some mechanical work, but she is road worthy at this point.  I will start another thread with the progress of the project, when it gets started!  Anyways..here she is:

I'm looking forward to all of the knowledge on this site, thanks guys.

I have a one CB350F

I hope to have it on the road in the next 2 weeks, the ... "restoration" process is taking much longer than expected... it takes a long time to get certain parts, and to figure out what other parts you need in the process.

hey everyone,
I was curious about how many 350F owners we have here.
a short list was started deep in another post and I thought we deserved our own little post here!

Well...long timer on the SOHC list...IIRC, I'm holding membership #47 from way back in the day.

Just picked up another 350F, 7K miles.  Sweet.  Adding it to the stable (my avatar photo has a 750 I sold last year to finance the completion of the restoration of a 71 Lotus Europa (photos at www.lotuseuropa.us under 693R in the menu).

Anyway, back into the honda world.  Will have photos later for posting.

Hey guys-

Regarding mine a couple of posts up, she's actually a 10 footer, her condition is pretty rough up close.  The headlight ears are both bent, there are two dents in the tank, the side covers are cracked, the headlight bucket is cracked and the stock exchaust is thoroughly rusted through needing complete relacement.  In addition, the rear left turn signal bracket was broken off and there is surface rust and pitting on most if not all of the chrome.  Any "cafe" changes I make will probably be reversable.  In the big picture; going back to stock would be time consuming but doable.  I haven't even thought about paint yet.  Right now I want to handle the mechanicals and get her on the road to enjoy this summer.  Thanks for the words though.
