Looks like we have a rash of BS'ers hanging around trying to rip people off...I also hang out a little on CBRForum and someone over there is going through something similar to some of the stuff we have had going on around here lately...If anyone's bored and wants a read or to assist this guy in someway below is the link to the original post and a quote from a little further along in the thread...Not sure if this guy wants our help or not but if someone wants to do a little digging I suppose it couldn't hurt. They already have a bunch of info but it is the standard stuff...guess they haven't learned to dig deeper and get his father in law involved not to mention find nasty pics of him and embarass the hell out of him until he finally caves in...

Sorry FC...I thought for some reason in an earlier post you had said that you didn't work (I assumed retired or independantly wealthy!)

I don't know either of these guys and only casually check out the board over there so no pressure what so ever...Hell I don't even know if the guy getting ripped off even wants the help...I would if it were me and I was out the $600

Nah, I just own my own business (and the wife does most of the work these days).  I still have to show up, but I only "work" a couple hours a day, most days.

Every once in a while, I have to suck it up and actually work.  Man, I hate those days!    ;D

I don't mind helping someone out, I just have a few other searches I'm working on right now.  I don't do the "multi-task" thing, but I'll get to it.  Gotta show those "youngsters" how we take care of each other...    8)

Okay, this'll show you how much time I have.  I read all 10 pages.  And here's my take on it.

"Age and treachery will win out over youth and exuberance every time".  The CBR group is probably a younger crowd, and well, we aren't.  The fact that we seem to have more time on our hands probably explains why we went deeper into brimmers life

The CBR group is most definitely a younger crowd. I think I'm about 40 years too old for my bike.  ;D

That forum has some good points but it is mostly the "how do I go faster" crowd.

Oh I totally agree about that site...hence the fact I pop in from time to time but do all my real research and hanging out on this site. The members seem to be far more interested in helping out over here and more knowledgable too...I do have a CBR as well though so there are definitely some tidbits of info over there that I can't get over here. Their technical section is no where near as good as this one in terms of traffic and the willingness of it's members to assist with a problem.
