Can't get the bike to run.

I tried everything.  It still won't move. ;D

The frame came back yesterday from the powdercoater.  This is the second time I had it powdercoated in two years.  This time it was free.  I wasn't 100% satisfied with the job the first time around.  This new powdercoat is much better.

I've had the same problem. You're missing the sidecovers, so the airbox is sucking in too much air and not enough fuel causing it to run lean.
Put your hand where the sidecover is supposed to be and see if it runs then.

I'm not sure there is a therapy that would correct the misinterpretation of a drag racer as a drag queen.  However, the visual imagrey has reminded me of the time I saw some very burley football linemen in TuTus, frilly pink, of course, and replete with toe shoes and tiaras.  I still find the image amusing, but recall I thought it best not to make friends.  Its been quite a few years, but may well have been the streets of San Francisco.

Thanks for all of the help guys.  I should have the problem fixed by tomorrow. ;)

While Mike is finishing my engine, I figured, I'd make sure that every nut, bolt, washer, pin, etc. was renewed.  The frame was inspected for cracks, the front end was all renewed last year, so it is bomber.  When that high HP engine goes in, with all its goodies.  The bike frame and components will be able to take it.

The other day, my wife came to the garage and saw what my bike looked like.  She said, "Did you buy another bike to fix up?"  I said no.  Her next words, "What happend to your nice bike you built last year?"  My response, "This is that nice bike."  Her reply, "oh my...well, have fun."  And she turned and left me be.

sounds like you have found your problem, but if not, make sure the kill switch is not off.
