very cool... i wonder if it is similar economically to honda cars.  in contrast to other jets is what i mean.  you know, honda is known for good gas mileage, etc.

i just wonder if they went all out and didn't just build another gas guzzling airplane.

anyone?

thats one reason the engines are mounted over the wing. the position reduces drag and leads to less fuel consumption.

I remember that old tongue-in-cheek question:  "If Harley-Davidson were to build an airplane, would YOU ride in it?"  ;)

They went to any and all extremes to make this one of the most economical jets in the air. Not only that, but it is also very comfy and quiet.

I am so jealous!!! Great pics though.

Don't you worry if Harley made a Plane it would fly perfectly right to the crash site.

oh, but once you get it there... it just rocks back and forth easily to make tire changes a snap.   ;)

Yeah just grab the rear aileron and push down on the left landing gear door and pull back on pilot-side window.

Easy as pie.

Is it a hatchback?  You could probably fit a sweet bass system in there!  It already has the huge rear wing, now it just needs some polished rims and low-pro tires, black out the windows and put some neon lights underneath and it's good to go!

Don't forget the cherry bomb muffler so it'll sound like a bumper boat. ;D

Seriously, That is a beautiful thing.  How long before the domestic builders or fuel companies start legal action to block this plane's access to the states?

Maybe Boing will partner with Honda like they did with Italian and Japanise (?) companies to build the 787.  Honda could make the parts and Boing could assemble here in the states.

I design Building Control Systems for JCI.

I read about Boing in the newspaper.

Looks like a modified Lear.  Still I wouldn't kick it out of my yard.
